A powerbank, buy a VietNam SIM
Remember to ask for the price every where
Most of VietNamese people are very friendly and generous, but careful is never fool.

You think I'm joking, trick is to be assertive and walk into the road traffic will avoid you if you keep an even pace. If you speed up and slow down the drivers won't know where you're going to be.

This is totally true. I almost died at least 3 times. It's an awesome place though. It will be quite a shock if you've not been anywhere like that before.
