Indian / Philippines websites for hiring VA? I don't have a good experience with hiring a VA from this forum. All of the people i tried are not serious.

You get what you pay for
what do you expect from someone charging 1$ per hour
why they are not serious? they take the job and don't complete or what?
try https://www.virtualstaff.ph/

try me :p

Depends how involved you want to be.

If it were me and I wanted to hire more VA's I'd do what I already do and get boots on the ground and hire someone directly. The mother of one of my kids currently works for me as VA.

From my experience apart from basic tasks you need to train the VA yourself to get the best results.

Most probably you're looking for cheap VA that's why you have mentioned those geos.

I am from India and I know this as I have hired and got my work done effectively from local VA's but only after training them for 2 to 8 weeks.

you need SOP, video recordings of what needs to be done

You can try hiring on a fixed rate on upwork

It’s not about the money mate. Jr. VIP’s here that answer for these kind of jobs are most desperate people existing.

They pay 150$ per year for Jr Vip and after that they answer to any thread someone opens.

If it's not about money just hire someone from a reputed freelance platform but do take their interview to filter out not needed ones.

$15/hour should be a decent minimum price to start here, you should get better skilled VA's with this approach.

Regarding the premium members replying to any job post that's the hunger to get the most ROI.

The problem is the same as with all people hiring from these regions, you just don't grill the person in a one on one interview maybe an audio or video chat.

I remember once someone had posted how he came to know about this forum & borrowed money to become a premium member here to earn money.

The lack of decent paying 9-5 jobs is also a reason why you see the desperation.

It really depends on the purpose and how much you are ready to pay. Go with an agency who does staffing so you know that you wont just get ghosted.

I can give you few leads if you can let me know about those 2 questions above.

I also agree with this. Most Jr replies are just spam and post count farming with as little details and little help as possible.
