Print On Demand Like This?

So, I've come up with an idea for a print on demand store but I've never done POD before. I want to get all the pieces together first but there's so many options that I'm trying to figure out which ones work together properly for what I want to accomplish.

Is there a service or combination of that will allow me to post a digital design to my store and then allow my customers to apply that design to whatever item they want from Printful/Printify/Etc.

Essentially wanting a POD platform that I can integrate email marketing, subscriptions, and the aforementioned variety design without having to make a separate listing for like shirts, hoodies, hats, phone cases, etc for the exact same design since I'll be creating around 25-50 designs a day I just wont be able to manage all of those different items.

If you can't find a wp plugin that does it, you can use

Which allows you to use their API, and they're a tight site. Lots of products.

Guessing by just using the API I would need to hire a dev to actually customize it for my needs, yes?

Yes, like i say, unless you can find a way to present their plugin in the way you want it. As far as I know, their plugin is only if you display the products you want to sell. You want to go a step further and allow individual account creation, so things like file storage will play a role, as well as a database for user management etc. I doubt something like this exists in wp, usually the more comprehensive, the less chance someone will commit to doing a wp version.

On printify you can save your design as template and re-use on different products. I'm not sure if automated version will work properly, coz every product has different type of placement.

Thanks for the info. Next question lol. Do you know in any POD platforms where/how I could setup a subscription service, example coffee mug of the month club. Is it possible to make batch orders to multiple buyers? Or to do something like would I actually have to actually keep an inventory?

Hmm, interesting. With all this I'm trying to figure out which platforms/apps/plugins/etc to use. I would like to stay away from Etsy. So this basically leaves me with Shopify or customizing a Woocommerce Wp site, right? From those options are there apps/plugins to where I can have my main design as the listing and then integrate a "showcase" for the POD items for that design? Similar to how Amazon shows you recommended additional purchases?

hey some days passed by . How is your POD Store going? And for what Service / SW (Wordpress,etc. or Shopify or printfull?) do you use know?
