I think the main reason is because of all the rebranding Elon did with Twitter. Everyone is now talking about Twitter only and all shift has taken from threads.com. Now, I am eagerly waiting for next move of Mark Zuckerberg. Can he get the user engagement like Twitter on threads?
 
Plus Threads does nothing original as far as I can tell. It does do some things differently but different isn't always better. There isn't enough of a hook there.
 
Threads concept is not original, and it has nothing much to offer concerning engagement.

Just like any product in the history of capitalism.

First week hype and then people forget.

Threads however do feel rushed and it is very difficult to naviage just like facebook at times.
