Do you currently experience the same issue?

It has been almost 2 weeks that the embed doodstream videos can't be accessed through web pages.
Any video page shows the chrome error "Doodstream.com refused the connection".

Yep, same here.
Support is slow in answering but they apologize for support delay.
I guess they are on vacation. Its understandable

Seems to work fine now.
Instant video seeking and playing.

Hmm nope, no one with a french IP can access the videos so far on all of my websites (hosted on different servers btw).
And it looks like they have the same problem with Netu or Vidoza.

Big takedown or general DNS block by the french government? Hard to guess.

Pwik please update your journey thread.
I also asked few questions there.

Hopefully its not global takedown.
Something in the French is going on..

I will, for sure.
But I'm overloaded with work currently, due to this issue, I am currently reuploading all the video files to Vudeo, Vidoza, Netu and Uqload. Mandatory to have several sources, since the number of daily unique visitors is currently melting like ice under the sun.

Once it will be solved, I'll udpate my journey.

Why its melting?
Any ideas? Because of this French DNS problems?
Do you target French mostly?
And you mean French visitors are disappearing? or also Tier1 etc?

May I ask how many sites you have?

The main reason is since they cannot access the embed videos (due to the Cloudflare rule that Dood have set near July 26), people are going away, looking for another website with working videos.

My mistake was to provide only the Doodstream player on my videos, so what no one of my french users could access to any videos (Indeed, 95% of my uv are from FR).

This cloudflare issue blocks only the french IPs so far.

I have about 10 streaming wbesites. (and I recently opened a Tube2mp4 website as well, converting any online video from 40 sources to mp3 and mp4).

I used to download videos from it but I didn't face any issues such like.

It won't work only if you have a french IP.
From any country else, it will work fine.

New update from doodstream for "fixing" DNS country restrictions:
(they add proxy on domain for embed link)

Indeed, got the same problem, not helping at all lmao

Also, cherry on the cake, all my websites on TheOnionHost are down (server problem perhaps).
Spicy month

I have read that there is some "global" or big illegal content takedown.
Maybe its related.
In French there is some kind of DNS blocking thing, people are signing petitions already..

Dunno whats going on

Oh for real?
Interesting then, I thought that I was the only one impacted, like bad karma or something. :D

Where did you see these infos?

Search: Concerns over DNS Blocking
Medium Article.

Then there is this:
Military Planning Law 2024-2030

Not sure if it's related at all.
There was more, something about movies, I have to search my browser history.

Doodstream servers and domains go down all the time. It's frustrating, but they eventually come back up. Even this past week, their main domain went down, but it eventually went back up. Have they always had this issue? I don't know. But hopefully they don't come crashing down soon.
