Hi

I may be the out of touch with AdSense but i keep on seeing request for adsense approved domains, my question is

What are these domains, like I have adsense account which i got like 10 years ago, and domain which i used to apply is no longer with me,

But i can put ad code on any site of choice with ads.txt from my account,

So what people actually mean by adsense approved domains.

An AdSense approved domain is a domain that can shoe AdSense ads. Nowadays, each domain needs to apply and be approved separately.

They want hosted website or i can submit my domain without any active website

An AdSense approved website is a website that has been ALREADY approved for AdSense.

The rules have changed, and in the past, you could place AdSense code on any website for display. However, now it seems that websites must first be approved by AdSense.

AdSense won't approve a domain with so site. What will they have to approve if there's no content?

They want to see some articles, good design, and other and find indications that this is a real HQ site rather than a spammy one.

Exactly my thoughts, those asking for adsense approved domains in wtb are missing this point.

The buyers think that once a website gets approved for adsense, you can use that domain name to host another website instead.

Which isn't the case really. You need to have the same adsense account otherwise even if you use an adsense approved domain name, you can't show ads.

It used to be good earlier. But now it need approval for every website you need to use Adsense.

Whats wrong with deleting the site from your google account, and allowing the buyer to google ads on their now website? Thats how they done it since the 60's

You don't get automatically approved on another account nowadays even if the domain name you're using was approved in the past. It needs to go through the verification process again.

Atleast that's what happened to me when i previously bought an adsense approved site. The owner did not sell the google account along with the site so I had to sign up a new one and go through the approval process again.

They're not, because they want to buy an account which is already approved, together with the domain it is approved for.

I think Google is trying to prevent these post approval account sales.
