I'd say follow the community guidelines. Shadowban is what causes that so avoid getting shadowbanned is the copout answer, I suppose.

Are you sure you got banned? if you try ranking there for something general (for the example "cars") it might take a while for you to find yourself there
the search of every social media is working in a similar way to google search so for some topics it may take time and a few twits on subject to reach the top of the chart

my reach went from 1000-10k likes down to under 100
on a 15 year old account. nice.
