I think there is an extra tax when you buy in USD.
.dev => 2,79 USD
.net, .org => 2,79
.com => 7.25 USD (much cheaper elsewhere)
.co => 6.87 USD
Almost all extensions are cheaper.

I'm renewing at a fixed price. You can buy it for 10 years. Since Google domains are sold, I don't think it can be found at these prices again. I suggest you buy while you have the opportunity.
The fixed price is available as long as Google domains does not change hands, but since it will change hands, saving 5 - 10 years is the best option right now.
Since Google domains is sold, we will renew from a different company. It is much more expensive there. I will move them when they expire.
