Backlinks Deindexed by Google?

Greetings All,

In the past week, I've noticed a peculiar occurrence - a significant number of my backlinks have seemingly vanished from Google Search Console. This includes links from well-known platforms such as Linktree, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Consequently, if one were to search for "CompanyX Instagram" or "CompanyX Pinterest", these previously prominent results have mysteriously disappeared from the Search Engine Results Page (SERP).

For context, this domain is a mere four months old and, I assure you, I have not employed any Black Hat SEO strategies. In fact, the domain has been performing admirably until recently, when I observed a noticeable dip in rankings.

I've taken the initiative to review the "Security & Manual Actions" section, and everything appears to be in order there.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar situation recently. Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

With a new site (4 month), everything is possible, rankings can fluctuate. So in this case seems your social links have disappeared. I would not fixate on that. Just make sure you build up your social activity and your site as well, in a white hat way.

Imho this means you have more work to do to increase the authority of your business. Google gave you a chance at the beginning, but now they are reassessing.

It's not merely the social links that have disappeared; the situation extends to almost all of them. This includes most business directories and even a handful of guest posts.

Rest assured, none of these were spammy in nature. I've always been diligent about monitoring the indexed links in my Google Search Console.

However, I've taken your advice into consideration and have today established a Facebook page. I've also been working on developing both text and video content (shorts).

When backlinks are deindexed by Google it means that Google no longer considers those links are valid and won't use them to assess the websites authority of ranking.

Yes, this happens in some cases Google does it manually or with the help of algorithms that consider the link manipulative.
