I have our business contact details on the footer of every page on the website. Among the details, there are a few email addresses in this form name@[provider.net]
We are struggling to rank for keywords related to our business.
Meanwhile, we are getting ranked for stupid things. Example keywords: [provider.net] contact, [provider.net] prices, etc...
People that want to contact our internet and email provider are getting our website in the top 10.
How to make it so that google crawlers don't treat sentences in our footer as keywords?

Maybe, using your own domain for business emails instead of the provider's domain one?

Anyway, visits are visits. Consider that some people even pay for irrelevant ads just to boost a couple of visits, which is generally perceived positive (regardless from where they come) when it comes to SEO.

Another option is to use images with the exact text instead of the text itself.

I'm just giving some weird solutions to one of the weirdest petitions I've ever read in this forum.

The thing is, if I'm getting top 10 for those irrelevant keywords from irrelevant people, then chances are they will never click, and I will get less conversions as a result, which is probably bad overall and would downrank the site in general.

It wont

Overtime CTR will show that those keywords don't match your site, and they will eventually dissappear for SERPS

Unless Google cannot find anything better than your site for such keywords, which means, those keywords are utterly 0 competition.

Maybe you could capitalize on them, by creating a subpage in your site talking about such providers with an amazing CTA that could convince anyone that clicks there to purchase your service or product.
