I have built a money site with an auction domain in the same niche now, but this is Asia and before that I was using it in the US, and the organic keywords in semrush are catching as US, I am confused if I should keep this domain or change it.

We've been building the money site for about 3 months now, and we're seeing a lot of keywords like the US, and the US is dominating.

Should I backlink and wait and see? Or do you recommend changing the domain?

In my opinion, Consider changing the domain to better target the Asian market align with your target audience and improve organic keyword relevance and avoid confusion with US-based organic keywords.

you can target foreign markets by translating the content in those foreign languages and tagging it with hreflang.

Actually, you could hreflang-it and also move each version in its own country-specific subdomain / subfolder (cn, jp, id, th, etc)...

So, no, I don't think you need to change the domain yet

I wrote content in Korean on an existing domain, is this wrong?

The highest exposure in Google Search Console is in Korean.

And the keywords in semrush are in Korean, but the country is in English.

Sorry for this question, I'm a beginner.

I'm getting Korean keywords instead of English keywords, do you recommend changing the domain in this case?

Maybe sustain this one and create a new site?
Clearly, there has to be something that triggered more US visitors
My guess is that the KWs you were targeting were probably dominated by T1 countries

From my POV i would say Yes, considering you are getting Korean keywords instead of English keywords, changing the domain to one that better aligns with your Asian target audience would be a wise decision for improved organic keyword relevance.

Okay thank you, so what's the strategy then, do I just dump the domain and get a new homepage? Do I have to create a new one and work on the content? Can I just move the content over?

You can start to initiate domain transition. It is crucial to handle this process correctly to avoid loosing organic traffic

To address the situation, focus on changing the domain to target the Asian market accurately. Perform a audit and adapt relevant content for the Korean audience. Implement proper 301 redirects and build local backlinks to boost organic visibility in Asia. Monitor performance closely and engage with the Korean audience to make a strong presence.
