Advice on drip feeding AI-generating articles?

Hi everyone - I am attacking a niche for which AI generated articles work quite well. As in, ChatGPT and other tools produce pretty good articles that probably need an hour's work to edit, humanise, and they are ready to be published.

What is your experience with publish 8 - 10 such articles per day? I have a team of 3 and we can easily generate 10 articles a day, put together.

Is it advisable to publish 10 a day, or spread them more (like 2 a day - one in the morning and one in the evening)?

Does anyone here have experience with Google reacting positively or negatively to publishing at a high speed vs. slow drip feeding?

My 2 cents from experience of running over 20 AI sites:

That number depends on the property you're publishing the articles on. I publish only 2 articles per week on one of the sites that I started last month. There is another site on which I publish 10-12 articles per day. One hack to know the number for your property is to check how much time big G is taking to index an article from the moment you publish it for the world to see. If you're doing everything else correctly, you'll notice that the indexation duration will keep coming down. Try to match that pace in opposite direction in terms of number of articles you're publishing. Force big G to increase the crawling budget for your property, slowly but steadily.

Start small then scale big. Start with 5 articles per day then increase the number. Focus on quality instead of quantity. I managed to drive 15k visits per month within six month with just 15 articles.
I've seen many people here post articles in volume. 100s of posts per day but they hardly reach 2-3k/month in an year.

Thanks, @Kinu Actaz. This week, we've decided to spend 1 hour per article humanising it, and keep an eye on our progress. I suspect, it might go up to 2 hours if we see that there's an option to make it even better with just an extra hour's work.

You're planning to do exactly the opposite of what I said. You are free to choose but my opinion is 20 is way too high a number if it's a freshly registered domain. Post one. Check the indexation rate. Post another. Check the indexation rate. That's the process I was talking about. Sites like Forbes probably post 50 articles per day but they also started with 1.

Due to my laziness, I managed to publish 15 articles only. Had I been more diligent, the count could have reached 30k visits.

My expertise lies in keyword research; I'm meticulous in selecting the right ones. 80% of my time goes into research, leaving 20% for content creation.

I posted more than 200 articles daily, and it didn't affect the rank at all. It's all a myth. If the quality of the articles is up to par, you can post an unlimited number of articles.

Not yet because I need to edit them once. But

I'll give this a shot. I had earlier launched a website with 15 articles and then worked on an article every 4 days (manually written). But, who knows what Google is thinking now. Let me give what you're saying a shot. I anyway have a healthy backlog of articles ready to be published.

Yup .. trying to work on the EEAT bit as much as possible without spending too much time .. trying to find that sustainable balance

This may simply be that the former set of sites have a far broader range of content available to serve up for queries than the latter. It's difficult to reach a conclusion as there are too many factors in play - backlinks, niches, competitors etc.

Thanks! The way I see it coming along, I'll have a decent backlog to be able to post 3 posts a day by the time I launch (in 2 weeks) and observe the data.
