yes it has and you can set it up on the tablet or cellphone so can be set as default and ask for a passwor in case the kid wants to get out of that section, a really nice feauture to being honest.

Yup and it's great for kids but where content creators go to die. I had 8m views in YT kids last month, made like 500 bucks from there. In comparison to YT where I'd earn 10k for same amount.
I'm getting a ton of virality in YT kids rn and I love the app for my own kids. But they need to monetize it somehow since it has 0 ads it's going to kill off any small channel that gets manually accepted.
Since I got in my YT views are now barely non existent and main source of views is the kids app. Working on a new channel catering to an older audience since I cannot spend 50hrs for 5 min animation and earn 10-50 bucks at best.
