My affiliate marketing ventures are starting to pick up momentum, but I want to keep taxes to a minimum where possible. Any suggestions on how to format and structure my movement legally? Thus far I’ve started a “marketing agency” LLC, but I just wanted to tap in to see if any of you had better ways of moving within the affiliate marketing industry. All insight is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Dont really understand the question but you have to declare the income and pay taxes on it.

If you do it through an LLC, it's going to be likely simpler for you than doing it through a C-corp (where you'd pay double taxes).

Yeah, I know I must pay taxes and all, but I wanted to see if anyone knew of any benefits to working affiliate marketing via a business as opposed to individually. Thanks tho

it won't make any difference but can write off your business expenses against your income to reduce your taxable income. If you are not American citizen and live outside of the US you only pay taxes to your place of residence.Contact an accountant for the best advice because tax laws are different from country to country.

Op are you american.LLC doesn't save taxes its just pass

Yes, I'm American, so that's what I was assuming (business tax write offs). Thanks for the clarity 7K!

Sole proprietorship in the beginning, LLC as you start making money and get more advanced.

The benefit is your doing business the real way, and actually getting ready for when you get big enough that you can't be just a sole trader. Also, the tax benefits for business are good, and you can also do many more things within a real business, as well as have credible business cards. :)

Precisely my aim Panther thanks for insight!

If you are resident of the US and tax liable there: Get a company outside of the US, f. ex. UK.
