Hey guys, I'm trying to recover my gmail account.
I receive a verification code on my phone, but they ask me to enter another verification code that was sent to the email I am trying to retrieve.
How can I access the verification code in the email I am trying to retrieve.

are they kidding me !!?

Gmail's recovery system has got to be one of the most shitty system ever
Add their pos customer service ontop which will literally just tell you to abandon the account and make a new one.

Give this method a try

You should also have 2FA on your gmail

Actually, just abandon Gmail once you can transfer your emails over to a more stable & less shitty email provider.

Thank you so much for your advice xReminisce .
Found this in the link you shared :
" In some limited cases the system may send an e-mail verification to the actual lost account. In these case, Google appears to believe you still have access to the account (are still signed into it) on some computer or device."

Yes, they did that to one of my accounts that I had logged in my old tablet like years ago.
I remember very specifically that I logged out on that tablet and it hasn't been turned on or used for over 6 years back then.
Then I removed that god damn device from Gmail account services.
Yet Gmail kept popping up verification to that god damn tablet, it was so freaking frustrating.
I kept trying until it eventually asked me for an access code from another device (my phone) and once I got in, I transferred all my emails out and abandoned that gmail account. (& eventally abandoned Gmail all together sometime later)
