How often does it happen to you that you're almost ready to buy something online, but there's just some small thing you need to be clarified, you click on the 'contact us' button, and the only way to contact support is email.
Suure, let's bring back the fax as well

Am I missing something?
Not everyone can afford to have telephonic customer support or even 24/7 chat support. Email is the only viable option for small businesses.
Not saying it has to be 24/7 phone/chat support, but having only email is always a deal breaker for me, just having skype/telegram/discord in there as well makes things 10 times better.

telegram when you delete messages, it will delete from both sides. It will become no evidence and nothing more as a tool of scammer use to deleted all his foot.
discord can be an alternatives, but email still number one, no one missing, and everything on file.
dont blame on business since they only able or could minimum cost for just use email.

i appreciate every business that support mail.

Everyone can 'afford' support, when I started working with customers I was doing negative profits, but guess what, each customer had my personal number which they could call at 4 am and I'd pick it up, that's how you earn clients trust, not by making them wait for 10 hours for you to maybe reply.

I want this kind of support!
Please give me your service link and phone number.

They trusted me (the customers) even they write about neighbor wife/husband on the email can you see? I don't want to hear it directly from a phone number. I swear I can't sleep if they keep the conversation far away from business, I will blow my head and just want to die.

In cases when I intend to buy something (for internet marketing) and a provider's only contact option on their website is email, I do go ahead and email them. However, at the same time, I am in contact with other (sellers) websites too. Usually, I am not an impulsive type of buyer, so I'd wait for a day or two before buying and if by then any replies have come by email, I include those sellers as well into my "bucket" and then make a buying decision. A few times, I got lucky waiting that extra time, as the email only contact type of seller's deal (pricing), quality, etc have been better.
It is worth the wait for a day or two, if incase one is not in a hurry to buy.
And just because the only contact option is email, it does not necessarily mean that such a website (seller's) service or product is not good.

Big corps always have these endless forms where you have to fill in 20 different text fields. I like businesses publishing their email address directly or Whatsapp even better. Also here at the market place "contact me by PM or Skype" and I prefer Telegram. And they answer me "don't have telegram" lol you just missed a client.

live support tools. if you wont answer in max 1 minutes just close it.

Still rather Email than a shitty chatbot that just takes you round in circles and so you have to email them anyway :D

Scale your business to 1000+ customers a day and this isn't feasible. Lots of business's can "afford" lots of things, it doesn't necessarily mean you should be doing them.

I've run live chats on large scale ecom operations plenty of times, the numbers very rarely stack up. Generally live chatters are time wasters or very low LTV customers, the ones that aren't just dont convert high enough to put 5/6 staff members sat on live chats rather than sat on phones. Whatsappers, skypers etc all get bucketed the same.

Phone number + email is the best way. Anything other than that is inefficient unless your just starting out, trying to grow an intial customer base or you have alot of time to waste.

Try to contact someone on Amazon or Facebook - yeah, they lose clients by the thousands/day

well, for support only telegram is fine I guess. It shouldn't be used for signing a contract or having a deal, but other than that should be fine
