What's wrong with people in marketplace threads?

He literally says he don't offer review copies and people keep spamming about it.
I've only ever seen this phenomenon on BHW and not any other forum and I'm wondering why is it like that?

Are these people blind? Or they just copy paste?

Automated account farming bots. There's a huge demand for aged BHW accounts.

A lot are just spamming to raise their post count. They haven't read the thread and they won't buy anything, even if they ask to buy it.

Makes sense, most people who ask for samples never get back at me.
The serious people just reach out to me through IM platforms or message me right away

Reporting the spam accounts would be way more helpful for the staff and they would be grateful if you do so as the data is important for fighting with the bot patterns.

Any growing community becomes a victim of bot networks. Even social media networks with tons of employees are not spared.

It is more likely to be the OP himself creating accounts to keep the topic among those with the most recent comments (getting more hits = more customers)

More in that thread joining on 13th april etc.
Someone is farming accounts.

Check their posting history - it's review copies all the time, lol.

Naturally, unless there is proof, the mods can't do much.

Also, iirc, it is agaisnt the rules to ask for a review copy if OP didn't specifically say they will be any.

That looks like an identified spam network. If you see anything like this on any marketplace thread, just report it so that we can take care of it.

Even if you're wrong, a helpful glance never hurts.

There are paid IM forums still out there. The overall quality in posts and members is much, much higher. I'm not sure if that strategy would work for BHW though. It would have to be a completely separate forum.

Perhaps, those who post for review copies when there is (are) no mention(s) of any review copies avaliable, are people who are millionaires and billionaires , so they have more than enough time on their hands, to just while away while they are bored with their life

it could be also domino effect, one bot does it and then real people do it too because they think something free is being given away, we have a saying in my language something a long the lines that people would take a literal shit if its being given away for free

Probably because you have 25 posts and half of them are you asking for free themes, which is fair enough but it's the same thing the spammer bums do with multiple accounts so it looks suspect.

well, what can i say… I'm newbie and I need resources giveaway for doing something that useful for me and people also, just because I'm asking too much free theme didn't mean I'm spammer

I have to exchange my 3 warnings and full of inbox mail warnings for those theme giving, that fair enough I'm just wrote my thought ;(
