A motivational channel with almost 3mil subscribers has been demonetized. That's depressing.

Another great example why you should create your own content. Yet people still out here telling me that it’s fine and others are doing it as well.

This is exactly why you don't rely on youtube.

You don't own shit.

Edit: Although I just looked at his channel..

What does he do? lol.

It's just a bunch of edited videos with motivational speakers and random guys working out and running.

Had to check his channel now, thanks Splish. :p

It seems he gets a good 100k views on most of his videos.

He has a site. Dude could be collecting emails but nope. Just a shitty continuity program & one t-shirt on his Teespring store.

Could use a free plus shipping offer for the shirt:

[I'd buy it if it had vegeta on it LOL]

With some sexy copy and a better mock up image, he could build a fat e-mail list.

Sell the subscription service on the backend after a few intro emails.

Maybe a new shirt every month?

Paste it into all of his video descriptions & as a pinned comment.

Moral of the story? Get those subs on your email list ASAP.

That's why it's so easy to dominate in business in 2023.

Very very few people are playing the game.

Subs mean nothing.

You'd be surprised how little money people make from youtube. It's peanuts. The real money is made by owning and monetizing your own customers/lists.

Yeah man sadly most people don't see the opportunity here :(

i like to think of youtube subscribers as a "rented list". Get them on yours ASAP.

Youtube could ban you anytime, and if you rely on the rented list? It's game over.

Wish I knew this many years ago instead of chasing the subscribers lol.

yes but with that so many subs and views he can put Clickbank link in the description and earn hundred dollars per day.

with the type of audiences he has, man, I can make hundreds a day with just affiliate commissions even if I dont have adsense revenue

The same talk I have with my clients. I hear every time things like "Facebook is enough for me" or "I don't need anything else".

I own a small audience for my newsletter, almost 4k subs, and the open rate is, on average, between 55-60%.

Even when I tell them that, they still can't see the benefits.

Could you recommend a course/guide on email marketing. I have tried to monetise my lists in the past, but with failure.

Watch Dan Koe on yt. Is not about the services or products, its the list itself.

There are countless such channels. Guess it's end of road for more such 'compilation' channels.
