Is Instagram threads complete copycat of Twitter? Or do they offer some unique features which is absent in Twitter?

Well they gave Twitter a funny twist, the fact that you can share a post on Twitter, my favorite feature

No, they are two different networks and Musk has no reason to whine about it

Twitter will never do the same for threads.

Except you can, You can share a threads post directly on the threads app to Twitter and you can share a Tweet directly on the Twitter app to threads.

Pretty sure Zuck rolled it a bit earlier just to take a shot at Musk

Twitter and Threads compete. Who wins? We'll see. It's kinda amusing.

I mean, it sure does seem like it. Threads is actively placing itself as the Twitter of Meta so make of that what you will.

hand if your not joining threads................
I've joined 2 hours after it was released hah! It's best to not be late on the new things that come out, even if you don't love it.

It feels very similar, but more like an old version of Twitter, there's no DMs, the content you post is highly moderated, and other than that the UI has small differences.

Apparently Threads have passed 100 million users already so Musk/Twitter will have to take it seriously/view it as a legitimate competitor

The sky is big enough for all. Even though it looks like a copycat, let's be ready for different upgrades and some free futures because that's what competition is all about.

Those are people joining just because they are already using Instagram. How many will continue to use the platform regular we have to see.

Twitter and Threads are very similar but they are two different platforms and it's obvious that people needed a new platform like Threads because of all the updates on Twitter, so it's really good to have it.
