Low scale emailing

Does anyone know how to do low-scale emailing? I'm looking to email like 1000 journalists. I'm not sure if I can do this out of Gmail since I'll probably get blocked and the message would get flagged.

Any tips will be appreciated.

Try Email Octopus dot com. They offer 10000 emails for 2500 subscribers for free. I had tried them few years ago and they are good. Even if you want to upgrade they are the cheapest one because they use Amazon SES.

Thank you I will try that! Do you know if I can send individual emails manually on there? because I may have to edit each email to make them unique for each journalist.

Manually sending individual emails? This is going to be a very time consuming task. Strongly not recommended.

You can always personalize the email with the first name/ last name of the recipient.

And if you still want to send unique email to every person then you can of course do that with Email Octopus (or any email marketing tool). All you have to do is, send one email at a time and not in bulk.

How do they treat cold emailing? As I imagine they have constant spam checks in place because the tool is meant to email your actual customers.

I had sent emails to the imported list. They had no way to determine if they were my actual customers or not. All I had to do was to give a disclaimer that's all.

I did not face any problem. You can give it a try and if they come back to you then let us know.

sendgrid is a better if not the best option for you. 1000 emails per day is okay using multiple accounts.

When you import an external email list in a program you have to give a disclaimer that these are the real subscribers and not a purchased list.

It is just a check box that you need to click to declare that the list you are importing is genuine. Nothing complex.

This is to make sure that your emails do not bounce or not marked spam by the receivers. In most of the cases this is just a formality.
