Facebook Suggest To Friends change?

I have a test account with 300 of my fake accounts as friends.... i sent a mass invite about 5 hours ago and have received 230 of them so far....so who ever made up this rumor is a moron....it is working

of course it's working, it's only delay thing. That was known even before but now as more and more people use facebook and pages, delay is bigger. Don't panic, if it says invitations have been sent than they're have been sent. If FB decide to limit them, you won't be able to select more than x numbers of invites, just like with applications. However, I could see that coming on some level.

yea i tested out with 300 friends and it i ve gotten 150 new members on my fanpages. Honestly, this rumor was the worst rumor ever it really scared me to death as i was building 20 more accounts .

please ban the douche spreading false info on these boards. we dont need members like that here

I invited 12k people to a fan page and i've only got 200 more members. This was about 4 hours ago.

Either they don't work, or my fan page is just shit.

This guy is straight up stupid too.

You know why you only got 200 members. Because you went and added the same fucking friends from mafia wars add sites on to different sites.

So in reality you only probably have around 4k real friends not duplicate, check your accounts and see how many you have mutual friends from your other accounts.

I noticed that i cannot go and post "add me" all at the same time from different accounts . 3 of my accounts have like 40 mutual friends and they barely got 250 friends, they are only 2 days old.

Heck someone even suggested to add one of my accounts as a friend to my other account.

I don't post "add me" - I added them myself. I scraped a group for the IDs and split it up over the accounts. I added 150ish on the first day and then 50 then next and slowly going down. When adding someone they're imported to the ignore list (FFB) so I will never encounter them again. the ignore list is saved and imported every time. This way you get no mutual friends.

So stop making ridiculous assumptions about posting "add me" on walls.

The page has around 2900 fans now so it's obvious there's some sort of delay.

FOR SOME CLARIFICATION:

Ok people, no one would come on here and say there page didn't work when it did. All it takes is a little more in depth analyzation to figure out why.

Per my testing:
- Suggest to Friends works on Fan Pages; However, it currently is NOT working on Fan Pages that have a corresponding application that goes with it.
- I have tested it using a Fan Page only, and it works, but then if I test it with my approved Application's Fan Page, it doesn't work.

And why waste your time with the manual add? It is controversial with facebook and you can only add 12 people at a time. The most important thing is to make it easy for all the computer illiterates to add their friends, so the only solution it appears is that we are going to have to WAIT for facebook to fix this. Or you can do it your own way, but keep in mind that they could shut you down and you would have to start all over again. Maybe it's better to just keep it legit until they figure out a better way.

Invite friends is 100% working on pages with app installed. I invited 100K to my page 3 days ago and it now has 30K fans, this would not have been possible if the invite feature was not working.

Well then I don't understand, because I have been trying for weeks and it doesn't work. I even went to another app on facebook and tried it and it still didn't work. So I guess I'm just lost, oh well.
:(

Maybe it has something to do with authorization? Mine doesn't authorize, does yours? Mine is just a website integrated in the frame. There has to be a reason it isn't working for a lot of us. I have been a computer consultant since I was 13, so I don't think it is operator error.

Thanks

There's gotta be a logical explanation to this, because i know it 'appears' to be happening to me too. And my page is pretty decent if I do say so myself. :) It's a subject that EVERYBODY is interested in.

Geez.

But we'll figure it out.
