Any success with domain flipping?

I am looking to make some money (as always) and I was just thinking of doing this. What would be my best approach? Should I buy .com and then get backlinks on it then sell? Or what?

With domain flipping, definitely get a .com domain for you'll get more money for a .com than the rest (unless it's something like sex.net, etc.).

Read the post about. :S It clearly states use .com but you can use others but you won't do as well unless it is like sex.info

those days of REALLY good money from domain flipping are over... doesnt mean you cant do it, but the speculation and valuations are much more realistic than they use to be.

It seems common sense is uncommon around here unfortunately. Sigh...

You'll find it much harder now than it was in the past. To make decent money off of it you almost have to buy semi-premium domains off of people not actively looking to sell but who aren't using the sites. You can sometimes find people like this. Anything of a value to flip is for the most part registered.
