So one of the accounts I have is @51k followers right now and gets really good engagement - between 5k and 20k likes each posts, some do 100k+.

It also grows really fast - 15-20k each month.

Any tips on how to monetize it apart from shoutouts?

I've been thinking about dropshipping cat related stuff like toys and etc. but I don't know how many of my audience actually owns a cat.

Amazon affiliate links to cat toys/products would be a good way. You could make reels or stories, have a link tree in your bio with all the products shown. If you get genuine engagement then thats probably the easiest hassle free way to earn as the sale is handled through amazon, then you have an easier time than setting up a website and fulfilling orders yourself.

I am in a similar situation like you. I have 53k followers on Instagram, 10k on YT and 7-8k on TikTok. I think that a better situation is the Shopify platform with dog products. Make good SEO and ranking on the first page on Google.

On the other hand, Amazon Affiliate is good option too but I think that with DS store, we can make more profit.

Seek partnerships and collaborations with brands that align with your cat niche. You can also join affiliate programs related to cat products or pet supplies.

Any tips to monetizing a cat niche IG profile?

1. Create an online store selling cat-related items such as clothing, toys, and accessories.
2. Offer customized pet portraits for fans of the IG profile.
3. Collaborate with cat-related brands and promote their products.
4. Use affiliate marketing and link to websites that sell pet products.
5. Reach out to sponsors and develop sponsorship opportunities.
6. Create cat-related content and sell it on micro-publications sites such as Medium, Substack, and Patreon.
7. Offer online cat-related services such as tutoring, pet-sitting, and animal photography.
8. Produce cat products such as calendars, mugs, and t-shirts.
9. Utilize crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter and GoFundMe to raise money for a pet-related cause.
10. Create educational content such as eBooks, online courses, and webinars.

I would go with number 1 if you know to fast deploy a DS store
2 is nice as well, you can outsource on etsy for $2-$30 and still can make a profit and maybe you can automate the stuff
3 is vey nice, look for mid-size brands (5k-50k IG stores), grab chatGPT (or whatever) to start pitching them to promote their brands. Also you can ask them to send them your products and make also video reviews and just borrow your neighbor's cat for a few hours, you can do a pet sitting for 'free'. Don't forget to give the cat a nice juicy fish can for the trouble hahah!
4 is nice, if your audience is engaging and they have pets themselves you hit the jack pot with promoting aff links and earn passive.
8 maybe, if you come with some unique spin cause it's over used this niche

Keep us posted, I am curious as well!

Great account!

You should try contacting brands that deal in cat-related accessories, as they may benefit highly from you promoting their products.

Those are great stats.

Try contacting cat brands via IG DM and Emails or websites.
Try to put an amazon affiliate link in the bio of some good cat products and do the test.
Make a dropshipping store on cats, promote it, and see if you get sales.
Try doing other cat account shoutouts for $$$.

what niche ? sometimes i buy post from instagram accounts

Identify the major national demographic of your page.
Pair up with exotic cat breeders in those countries.
Demand for exotic cat breeds is always high.

My little advice from my own experience: don't start a brand a this level, you may just destroy your account rep, do shootouts, you'd be making +$1000 easily of an account with those metrics.
