Hi BHW fam,

Okay so I had an idea to increase traffic and visit time on my website, I will first explain what the site is. So I have built a large audience of about 350K organically on TT/YT/IG all targeted in the cartoon niche & 70% USA. So I know what they are into and what they are interested in watching/reading.
People are always asking me in the comments, "where can I watch that" so I thought if I could simply reply, in my bio and pin the comment lots of people interested in the episode would go to my site where I could funnel them into profit some how (Ill plan that out better later).

My questions and reason for this thread is, does anyone know how I could embed cartoon episodes into my website? and if so will it make my site very slow? My website is on wordpress and I used elementor to build it.

If anyone know any good articles that relates to my situation I would really appreciate it (have searched but havnt found what I am looking for)

Also will I have copyright problems from companies like disney/cartoon network?

Thank you all in advance,
Georgetoons

you can embed them just like you'd embed a Youtube video, nothing special about it...

It shouldn't make your site slow, and if it does make it slow then you've not done your technical SEO part correctly. But video embeds don't slow sites down enough to matter, so you're safe in this regard.

Where you're not safe, though is in the copyright infringement department. More specifically, if you embed episodes taken directly from Disney's site, or Nicklodeon's site (or whichever big brand's site that has full rights to this IP) without their express consent you're going to have their army of lawyers all over you, demanding that you either pay them or take the episodes down, these vultures even have the power to take your entire business down if you operate in the USA, so don't risk it!

Thank you for taking time to reply! So do you know how pirate sites like 123movie get away with it? Have they communicated with the right owners? Also I am not in USA so will I still have a problem with companies taking my business down?

Are these cartoons yours? Did you create them, ect.

In regards to pirate sites, they do not actually get away with it, they just prolong the enevitable.

(YouTube has a agreement you sign about piracy, while you fall under that umbrella it doesn't protect your account to grow, however it doesn't allow lawyers to persue you either)

But once you sign up for a website with your name and details at the registered domain, and you start making money off copyright content then your own your own.

As one person once said: " keep it consistent and have the format the same, and in that regards you'll build your niche"

You could get a cheap a service provider that gives you access to 1tb ect and upload all the content there, but don't use your dam name, and then embed link it all to your site then yes in that regards you'll be flagged but your site will not be taken down.

A investigation would require the hosting service to reveal the details of the uploader.

I've never dealt with pirated / adult niches, so I don't know
