Where to get top notch content?

Hi guys,

i´m owning several sites, on some I (still) have self-written content in English (not native language). On others, I have a native speaker write content for me.

Now I have already bought several times from the same guy, 1000 words about 250€. Each time my ranking has improved by about 100-150%. So from e.g. 25 -> 10 or 50 -> 20.

In my opinion 250€ is quite expensive, but I think that I get worse results from a cheaper content writer. Thought every time what he has written me for a scrap, uploaded content and a few days later came a sharp improvement in my ranking. I have tried this so many times that it can not be a coincidence.

It´s amazing how badly I can judge the quality of the content, is it the same for you?

I still have a few small questions to finish:
1. where do you buy your (moneysite) content?
2. do you think a native speaker for less would do it?

I used to write mine. I've almost always written my own. I've bought content but anytime I really make a purchase with content, I feel as though I could've done it myself.

AI right now is making amazing strides. You take their boilerplate output and make edits. You can have a very good piece of content in half the time.

I read through the content and think this is bullshit. Im uploading it and getting such improvements. That´s the weird thing.

I always write my own content.
Now I make a layout of the content that I want and ask ChatGPT to write. After making adjustments I publish it.

Not all the highly paid content writers are good and less paid writers's content wont rank!
Ofcourse native speaker writes well than others.
if you are reaching out via platforms you can check the start ratings before spending money on them.

I read through the content and think this is bullshit. Im uploading it and getting such improvements. That´s the weird thing.

AI can give you an exceptional structured. You can use it to build great content, faster. Just make sure to rewrite and add on to some of those sentences.

Fact check, ensure everything is copacetic.

Pass those articles through the Surfer content editor and see what score shows up

Yeah no idea, my content ranks also but when i let it rewrite from an "expert". Then i get an ranking improvement which i cannot done by 2000€ links in my niche.
Im also using GPT, but seems like google like the content of this dude much more

That's incredibly expensive, but I'm sure you know that.

I can't imagine content being worth that much unless it's very technical content or you get to publish it under a well-known name.

Since it sounds like you have the budget, you could simply email other bloggers in your niche and offer to hire them, and that way you can see how they write and rank before you even initiate contact.

What I tested:

1. Own Content
Written content myself (not natively with ChatGPT). Was then on position 60 (average) with my keywords for a long time.

2. Content writer 80€ / 1000W
Content written by someone else 100€ / 1000w native english, then my ranking has improved to about 55 on average.

3. Content writer 250€ / 1000 W
Some weeks later I had the text rewritten again because I wanted to know if something happens. The guy has delivered me the content I said for the price the content is nothing special because of keywords etc.. Actually already wanted to demand the money back. But I uploaded the content anyway and waited 3 days.

Subsequently, I checked my rankings and found that I suddenly rank on average on place 20. Some keywords even slipped into the top 5, before that none was in top 10.

4. Retesting?
I thought that was a coincidence, maybe links have suddenly done something. So I tried the whole thing again on another domain. There I uploaded ChatGPT content and waited for it to rank. Then again from the guy what write - then uploaded 2 days later the ranking was halved again.

Still coincidence, maybe Google just likes my pages? The same principle I could achieve with 2 acquaintances who drive their mischief in another niche. Where they had their content from before I don't know, but both were thrilled (until the bill came )

5. Big Questionmark (?!)
Of course, I now have big question marks in my head, which is no wonder, is it?

My head is buzzing with such things:

• Why is the content so expensive?
• Have I saved in the wrong place in the past?
• Why does it give me such good results?
• Is this really due to the content
• Where do i get such content for my blog page? It´s affordable for the main page but for blog posts? HELL NAH

6. Conclusion:
None of this makes sense, everyone boils with water and I can't understand the whole thing. I'll probably always get content on the main page from this guy now, because I've celebrated good successes several times. Whether it was really due to the content or other factors I do not know 100%, but I could reproduce this more often, which actually speaks for it.

For blog posts that only indirectly bring me money I have to fall back on "cheaper" content writer. Unfortunately, I lack the trained eye and experience to know what the Google algo may see.
