Sitemap (map site) due to spam. It's working for now, but in 6 months it will be up.

They also added more information about lastmod.
If your page changed 7 years ago, but lastmod indicates that it changed yesterday, Google will no longer believe you.

By lastmod we mean a significant modification, not a change to the sidebar or footer. Examples of when you can update lastmod:
- changing the main text
- adding or changing structured data
- updating some links.

Google doesn't use changefreq and priority at all.

What is your opinion?

There will be indexing of everything, which is not even necessary.
