I have a website that has been doing well but we don't rank at the highest levels. Usually, our news show usually on 5-6th place.

Do you have on your Google news site, affiliate reviews/ links or you offer your own services?

Or have link in the footer to other websites you own?

I ask because I want know if google allows that for news publishers.
The traffic you will get is worthless when you not can monetize it.

I see affiliate products and links in all news sites ( newspapers) bloomberg, cnn, wsj.....and they have links in the footer too.
Asking in google communities is useless or their guides not have any knowledge.....

I have a website that is approved in Google News. Isn't getting very high traffic though. Getting ranked for certain posts only.

And, traffic can be monetized easily. It is quality traffic and can get pretty good earnings.

Google Community for News is utter bullshit.

You will never get traffic by adding your website in the Publisher Center. It's a waste of time, your website will never be a Google News website because you added it in this Publisher Center.
