Why You Should Read More

I was interested in learning sales for SaaS. I tried many courses and youtube videos but they are boring and don't give enough information for the amount of time you spend watching them.

So, I though I should try something new and I downloaded a book about SaaS sales. It was only 80 pages so I read it in a day. And the amount of practical knowledge I got from that one book alone outweighs all the courses combined.

Books have higher ROI as you need to be more concentrated while reading a book than watching videos.

I plan to read SPIN selling next. What are you reading?

Books have far more depth than videos. They also tend to require a much higher entry to barrier than videos. It's much easier to make a bullshit video spouting complete horse shit and fake news than to write and publish a book (and one you as a commoner would be able to find) doing the same.

If you want entertainment and superficial "knowledge" and the feeling you're learning, then go waste time watching youtube like all the other imbeciles. If you want actual knowledge and actually learning, you need to read, preferably then write and discuss with like minded and educated people. It's all about quality. But most people are lazy and just want the former.

Currently reading 80-20 Marketing and Sales by Perry Marshall.
