It should work as long as you don't give them a reason to check IP (dont get spam reported)
Also use different browser session i think

If that activity is moderated and you don't attract too much attention, all should be fine.

This is actually how Reddit was created (how it gained popularity).

Their moderators talked with themselves, they pretended Reddit was popular so it took off.

You should be fine with only two accounts as long as you don't get reported. But it's better to use different ips.
