Everyone knows about the conch house site and how they made $800k in two months.

Completely insane really.

100% duplicate content, zero internal linking, 300k+ indexed pages.

It really shows how much you can get away with when you have a powerful domain and topical coverage.

This motivated me to put it to the test with my own site. The change I will make to their strategy are:

1. 301 the domain to a fresh site
2. Using 100% AI-generated content (GPT 3.5 turbo & Davinci)
3. Internally link all content with other pages within their subcategories
4. Apply for Google news

The Gameplan
✅ DONE - Find a decent expired domain with a clean history and powerful links in a non-YMYL niche
✅ DONE - Create a simple topical map. Plan out menu category silo's
✅ DONE - Scrape thousands of keywords for each category
✅ DONE - Build and set up a fresh money site, apply for Google News
✅ DONE - 301 Expired Domain to Money Site
❌ IN PROGRESS - Generate 100k pieces of content (10,800 articles posted so far)
❌ IN PROGRESS - Post 3-5000 articles per day, at least 100k articles
❌ IN PROGRESS - Wait for results and monetize

Expired Domains
Bought an expired domain in the music niche Here are the stats. expired domain site stats. I already restored content & 301’d to the fresh site

The domain has 6 pages indexed & do follow backlinks from wikipedia.com, genius.com, imposemagazine.com, lacountrymusic.com, etc.

Stats For Each Article
Money Site Niche:
Musical Instruments
Average article cost: $0.009558648 per article
Average article word count: 1,586 words (1,200 to 2,500 words)
Meta tag description?: Yes
# of H2’s per article: 10 subheadings
Average Rank Math Score per article: 75
Average Keyword Density Per article: 1.44%

Average tags per article: 1 tag (the article keyword)
Average Incoming Internal Links Per Article: 2 links
Average Outgoing Internal Links Per Article: 2 links

Example Article
The articles aren’t amazing but they cost me less than $0.01 to create, and takes me ZERO work. I would give the average article a 6-7 out of 10 in terms on-page SEO and quality. 100k semi-decent articles is better than 100 perfect ones

How I’m getting featured images for each article. Scraping images from Google search.
1. Keywords are saved as a tag in the article
2. Keyword is searched in google images
3. First Google image is downloaded
4. Keword is set as alt text
5. Image is set as featured image

Internal Linking
I hired someone from fiverr for $50 to create a code snippet for my site that will internally link articles, only within that sub category together in a chain like structure.

For example, Lets say a category has 1000 articles

Article 1
Article 2 will link to Article 1
Article 3 will link to Article 2
Article 4 will link to Article 3
Article 5 will link to article 4

And so on and so on like a chain…..

Google News
I applied site for google news to see if that helps with indexing such large amounts of pages, hopefully should be approved this week

Goals For This Project
At least 100k pieces of content, I honestly just want to see what happens with this site. Not setting any income goals for now.

Will update thread as much as possible

If you manage to index the articles fast you will definitely have some sort of success. Maybe not like conch house but will see good results for sure.

I don't expect anything near that, this is really just an experiment

Good luck! Domain strength seems a little low to me. From my experience, domain determines how much content you can throw in. How about taking that second domain and 301ing it too? Anyways, sounds like a plan. Can't wait to see your interviews too in the near future :)

Yes, planning to acquire the other two

What is the conch house site?

Also whats a good site can you buy expired domains from?

Be interesting to see if this works. I've done similar experiments in the past but Google seems to sandbox me once they realise I have thousands of pages. Even on a good expired domain.
I uploaded 11k pages 2 days ago, 819 are indexed in search console. It will also take some time for 301 juice to fully pass through.

what AI writing tools do you use to get such a low cost per 1.5K word article?

The domain is too weak for this to work. You need a strong domain, try to get something with at least 1000 RDs. Use a mix of AI and copy paste content for better results. Build good prompts, structure your articles (they are all based on a formula, especially buying guides). If you template things you can go a lot further.

Mixing in copied and paste content is a great idea. Was thinking the same about domain.

Thanks
