Advice on how to warm up a reddit account?

What are some tips for warming up reddit account? Generally, I aim for 30 days, 500 comment karma, 500 post karma. Anyone else wanna share their guildelines?

Presuming the account is newly created:

1. During the first 1-2 days it should mostly browser, join subs and save posts, no upvotes or posts made.
2. The next days just commenting a few times and a few upvotes.
3. After about 4-5 days you can start posting a few text/image posts.

Once one week passed with the above, you can more specifically begin doing karma farming.

That is a good method. But 4 days age and some post karma is already enough for most subs, but the more you age and more karma you farm the better.

I start using my accounts for promotion after 7 days and 100 karma.

No need for all that. Just build some karma and age

You can simply start by commenting and posting in small subs of your interest. Then, after getting some age and karma, you can post in larger subs. Make sure that you are taking the things slowly and gradually. Best of luck!
