You can pay someone on BHW market to do that research if you dont want to do by yourself.
Sometimes check the competitor and copy the lowest KW
this is my method, maybe someone will give you more or i think there a thread talking about this, try to search.

Thanks but the main purpose of this thread was more about the "process" and "hidden hacks" and not the tools :)

Hate to bring the bad news to you but most niches don't have high volume keywords with low difficulty, but there are exceptions.

So you wanna do the process backwards first find the keywords and then select the niche(s). You will still gonna need keyword research tool like ahrefs.

I personally hate working with some niches and like gaming, government jobs. But if you wanna flip sites this is still the way to go. So you are on right track with thus.

It's a slow, time-consuming process
But Semrush makes it a lot easier

These days in my experience it's almost impossible to find these without using the actual Google data and not just estimates from 3rd party tools which are in most cases wrong.

What I mean by this is that you'll need a website in a broad niche that can be used to rank for thousands of long tails so that you can get tons of keywords along with the accurate, actual data from GSC.

While I've mostly done this manually or semi auto, I've heard of lots of people doing this with fully automated sites that post thousands of articles for the sole purpose of collecting this data.

This way you get information that most others can't get and an opportunity to take the advantage of low comp high traffic keywords/sub niches.

How SEMRush make this process easier my friend? can you explain more?

Yes interested to know more about it @HustleTong
Since I've been using it for a long time, I've developed my own workflow along with other tools.
For beginners, this is enough to get started.

Like any other skill in SEO, kw research also has a learning curve. I wasn't referring to any strategy that lets semrush do all the work. Out of all the other tools (including ahrefs), semrush has an edge when it comes to KD calculation.

you can select keyword than enter it in ahref keyword difficulty tool than search it

You can use keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz Keyword Explorer. Search for keywords with high search volume and low competition.

The best way to find targeted keywords with high or low search volumes is to use different methods. For example, you can use automated keyword research tools, competitor analysis, or topical research. You can also perform a manual search on Google Adwords’ Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, or Google Trend.
