Hello my friends,

Kindly tell me is that Web 2.0 backlinks isn't worthy anymore??:eek:

Some person told me that web 2.0 is not worthy for built anymore. I asked how is that possible, then he told me those web 2.0 properties are heavily used by people and now Google not giving a value to those links.

Is that true?

probably that it was me who said it since this does sound like something I would say :D

And yes, for me web 2.0s have not been worth the trouble for 2-3 years now, but other people might disagree. And if they do, they're free to come here and share their experience. I'd love to hear from them...

They are definitely as strong as they used to be, but considering the advent of AI content, you could be generating massive amount of count of a web 2.0 (that you could not like 2 or 3 years ago), get visits for 2.0 for certain niches, and place links on most visited pages, hence, resulting on interesting results

+ 2.0 are generally more resilient to blasts than regular domains or weak PBN

So I still find on 2.0 new opportunities lately.

place links on most visited pages

In here you mean copy my most visited (money site) website page links and add those link into the web 2.0 blog posts. am I right?

fully agree with this. While web 2.0s have very little ranking power, they're extremely resilient to blasts due to their authority, so you (@C63) can use them as buffer zones

I believe it still carry value, yet not as high as last time.

kind of :)

Buffer zones means exactly what I said earlier: you can blast them with links without fearing that you'll tank your site

Been 2 years I don't use them directly on money sites but they are still good for parasites like youtube with video embedding.

as most people said earlier, WEB 2.0s are not as efficient as before. But, it's not that useless as well.

If you want to top your links with Web 2.0s, just go for it.

on medium-big niches doesn't help you with anything, just for diversity.... but on small/very small niches they can make a difference.

Young members here who came in seo recently might not even know what web 2.0 is. It is so much outdated. Need I say anything more about its effectiveness.
