Send only few links to some individual pages which have little competition. Otherwise you should keep building links for homepage.

Nice tip. ThanksYes, you need backlinks to all content pages as well as the homepage.
You'll want significantly more pointing towards those content pages as that's what you're looking to rank with.
If you build links only to the homepage, you are giving each webpage a trickle of the power.I've had some success building links to my homepage and it kinda worked and my DR is increased a bit.
Do i still need to build links to specific content pages on the website?
Or will having a High DR through homepage links effectively skyrocket the other content pages to the top?
If you build links only to the homepage, you are giving each webpage a trickle of the power.
You should also build contextual links to some main pages/money pages from contextually relevant pages. This makes sure that you have both power+topical relevancy to rank those keywords
Ideally, you should build 20-30% links to home page and the rest to individual pages.
And don't forget to heavily interlink (where it makes sense) to spread the juice

Thanks. You've changed my mindset on some stuffs. Check out the top ahrefs search result for a low difficulty kw below. How much quality or quantity of backlinks do you think I need to rank #1?If you build links only to the homepage, you are giving each webpage a trickle of the power.

This is great, very very low competition truly! Are you sure this is an informational keyword. I.e. are the top ranking pages blog posts or something else? Thanks. Yeah. The keyword is an informational Keyword. Do you mean I should space the links between each pages on the website btw 1 month or I should space the links on a specific page? This is great, very very low competition truly! In your other post you said you have 89 posts. So I'd say you should do great with 10ish guest posts (significant traffic, good DR, low spam score). They should be relevant to your niche though.
Space out those links over 1 month atleast
So let's say you have a budget to build 10 backlinks. Send 3 of these to your home page.Yeah. The keyword is an informational Keyword. Do you mean I should space the links between each pages on the website btw 1 month or I should space the links on a specific page?
The goal is to make it look natural. Thanks so much. Now I understandSo let's say you have a budget to build 10 backlinks. Send 3 of these to your home page.
For remaining 7, pick 7 blog posts that are highly unique from each other. Send 1 link to each post (and also add internal links to relevant posts from these posts)
Since you have a new website, and haven't been building links at all, you should have at least 3-4 days of gap between each guest post (irrespective of whether it's to the same page or a different page).
(That's why I said you should space out all the posts over a month or so)

I mostly use the Website domain name. For example, (blackhatworld.com) - Anchor text: Black Hat Worlddo you use specific anchor or just naked link for your homepage backlink?
ThanksBoth Home page and Content page are Important .you should build links to inner pages as well as the homepage.
