Redirecting Blog Post Traffic

My site got rejected by Mediavine twice for having too many top 10 articles that are not brand safe.

And this is after trying to change the wording and phrases in the content to try and pass their review.

It seems that I might have no choice but to delete the articles which might be causing the red flag.

But these 'offending' articles make up about 10-12% of my total sessions which is a real bummer.

Instead of just unpublishing these posts or deleting them, is there a better way to go about trying to preserve as much traffic as possible?

What about redirecting the traffic to more brand safe content on my site?

don't cut the branch beneath you just because some random network said so. Keep the content if it brings you traffic, there are many ways to monetize traffic, so don't do what mediavine (or any other company) tells you, these companies only care about their profits, they don't give a rat's ass about whether you lose traffic or not

@mackdaddy88 Do you really have no choice other than Mediavine? Try other networks too and if they all say the same and you do not have any other option but to get rid of that content then I would say, as a last resort, to apply a 301 redirect to other pages. But do not delete those pages. Once you delete them, you lose them forever and all the traffic they are brining to you is gone.

If you apply 301 then you at least have an option to remove the redirect in future and bring the pages back to life whenever needed.

MV uses the Google ad network so there are some stipulated rules which google has laid out for publishers to follow.

Basiclally nothing violent or sexual which my site doesn't have at all.

I'm trying to apply with other ad networks too but MV has one of the best RPMs in the industry which makes them so popular.

When I do a 301 redirect, should I redirect those posts to another similar post or just any post in random?

Similar posts only.

Make sure you do not have those banned keywords in those posts. Otherwise your problem will not be solved. Make sure those posts answer the peoples questions well for what they are coming to your site otherwise it will increase the bounce rate.
