Important: Remove the sim card! One of the key factors Meta is finding out where you are by checking your mobile network provider. So, if you are in Thailand, you are probably using DTAC, TrueMove, AIS, or whatever. When they see you are using DTAC, they know you are in Thailand. The same goes for other countries. Remove your sim card. Don't be connected to the internet using your sim card. Only use Wifi.

In the end it depends on how Meta configured their algorith/app to decide whether a device is in a specific country or not. For some apps it is easier, for others its more difficult. For some you can just open NordVPN, open the app and they will think you are in the US/Wherever because of the current connection. Others will have such a high threshold (for example changing the location after 14 days of only connecting from a specific country)

Meta obviously has something like a 7 days threshold to decide whether the account is in a specific country. I am sure they do it because of Facebook ads.

Honestly, there are so many scammers. Most of them have absolutely no fucking clue what they are talking about and just wanna sell their awful service.

As I said, it makes absolutely no sense if Meta would discontinue the subscription because the location changed. It would literally be chaos because if someone goes to holiday for 7+ days and the location changes, they won't be able to continue the subscription. Thats just one example.

These people talk a lot, make videos, blablabla, but they never tested anything, they never got anything done. Look at me, I am a guy who decided he could get Meta Verified even if he isn't in the US/UK/AU/NZ. I was searching the whole internet. Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, Forums, etc. I didn't find any method. Even some dorks on BHW who claimed they "know some methods" couldn't give me an answer...and here I am: I tested a bunch of stuff and I got it done + I am sharing all the knowledge for free, unlike all these other guys. I could have offered a service and charged people hundreds of dollars to get Meta Verified, but I made it public for free so no one gets scammed by any of these clowns

Dear @nakamura, I have doing your trick for 2 days, but the Instagram ads always shown from my original country/location. Did you experience it at the beginning? I was setting all my stuff to USA, not only spoofing location, phone region, time zone, billing addres in meta, etc.

I don't think it plays a big role. In fact I signed up for the waitlist in March for Australia. However, later on I signed up again for the US. If you can sign up again, do it.

If you don't see the Meta Verified option, try to completely close the app for 1-2 minutes (so it is also not running in the background) and then start it again. Then check the settings.

- Second Android device
- No sim
- No other apps
- Mobile proxy (same)
- GPS spoof (same)
- Changed timezone etc
- Just to be sure I check the gps and ip location every time before I open Instagram

No Meta Verified option after 9 days of testing. Maybe the fact that I was using the account for 11 years in the same location makes Instagram think this is just a vacation and don't offer me the option? Any ideas what should I do?

Hello @devebeck I tried several android proxy client apps like Shadowrocket including Shadowrocket for android itself i couldn't manage to find the one that works well with HTTP proxy from smartproxy as suggested by @nakamura . Please share what app did you use to connect proxy to your android phone.

I am not tech savvy. I just followed instructions. If anyone knows best proxy client (manager) for android please share. Thanks

Just some news about my test. I'm trying and easier method that just involve :
- SPoofing location with IMyphone Anyto (like here)
- VPN (Unlimited VPN) in LA.

Atm every app are seeing me in LA, that is good. I get US ads on YT. IG ads think i'm in France, while i'm leaving in Korea but i'm french. My IG account is still based in South Korea. It's been 7 days. I'll try it for 14 days and tell you if it work on this way.

I was lazy to spend money on proxy haha
