So I was doing some manual back-linking from some edu blogs. I did this one site and for some reason over the past week the back-links from this one site keep increasing. already gained over 100+ from this site. Anybody ever see this before? also is it bad for my site too have that many links coming from the same domain? it is an .edu site that is PR5

Thanks

Why would he share?

If he found a decent .edu site that is giving him heaps of backlinks why would he let it become a cesspool of shitty xrummer/scrapebox random crap comments?

to JJamson....nope it shoun't hurt you at all.

reap the benefits, and keep the url for yourself .... until I find it har har har ;)

The site probbably has some sort of plugin or widget that puts your comment on its sidebar making it sitewide link.

This can only help you

It is actually very good to have found one of these sites. I have experienced this before as well. The .edu links continue to increase due to sitewide links when you recent post has been featured on the front page.

It goes up to 100+ but as the time goes by, it will quickly drop off.

recent comments displayed sitewide

I don't like em IMO, unless you post on a dead site, the links go away as time passes

I just had some for around 3 weeks, it was fun while it lasted...

you could always keep posting to the site. post, ping, wait a few days and repeat.
