Hello guys.

I do deploy different links to my money sites, including Niche Edits. Now I just watched a video where an SEO 'guru' blatantly claimed Google slammed sites during last year Spam-Updates. That is, NE links was one of the factors Google considered to downgrade sites during last year (2022) SPAM-Updates.

Is this true? Please I'm really curious to hear your opinion, guys.
Thanks

You need to check that they’re not just link farms

Niche edits or guest posts on real sites will get you penalised? LOL
That "guru" doesn't want you to rank so s/he peddles lies.

Yeah, that's True!

Google is upgrading its spam detection system with the ability to find purchased links and detect domains used primarily to pass links to other sites.

The December 2022 link spam update utilizes Google's AI-based spam-prevention system, SpamBrain, to nullify unnatural links

Yes, but it doesn't affect real sites, no matter if it's a niche edit, a guest post, or a PBN link. If the site is clean and looks natural, no Google update can detect it. Unnatural links will be de-indexed automatically, as Google always does.

The Site that built for link building purpose might look natural to the eyes of Human, but not with the Big G.

No Real sites offer Guest Posts Links for $ or $$. FYI :)

Guest posting is not against Google's guidelines if it's done for other than SEO purposes. A person or organization will buy guest posts for brand awareness and referral traffic. Google will not penalize all the sites that sell guest posts. The main issue with BHW members is that they always think from the dark side of the world. View the world as a normal human being, and everything will look different. There are still 100 unknown reasons why people place links on their sites. If it looks natural, it won't be penalized. So far, it only works like that. It may change in the future.

True, but that's where you can always cloak that part of your site so google never sees you are offering guest posts, my friend ;)

Am I too dumb to understand this? If you hide it from Google, why do you offer guest posts? Are you trying to cheat the customers?

that's not the case.

How it works is that google won't see your "selling guest posts here" in your site. So google will find all content on your site legit and won't think it's a guest post of any kind.

It's like google will scan your site and won't find the "selling guest posts here" part of your site, BUT your clients will see it when visiting your site! :)

It's like hiding from google the part where you sell guest posts, but when you sell a guest post, google will see it completely natural!

Okay, I got it. I thought you will show links only to real people and hide them from Google crawlers.

You can also do that so people don't leave your site, but as always you can always keep testing

Again, I don't understand. I'm talking about hiding the external links from Google if you sell guest posts.
I was talking about hiding all external links to real users, but keep them "unhidden" to google

He is high

You don’t cloak your links from google, the point is for google to see the link.

A lot of people use scripts on their networks to only show link to the google bot. It’s the other way around, like I said this guy is smoking something else

Did you mean me? Please read again what I said to him. I do the same to show links only to Google and hide them from real users. But he said something else. In the next message, I said that if you want to scam people, show them only to people and hide them from Google. So, you won't really pass any juice to your customers' sites. And Google will also not penalize your site for selling guest posts. That's what I came to say. But that guy gave irrelevant answers. Check my previous message.
