Hi, I will be documenting my journey here so I could hold my self accountable and keep notes daily if possible. So I have a web design business, I have 2 niches I currently focus on with separate Facebook, linkedins and Instagram pages. One that is general and one that is niched based. I had to step back due to personal reasons which resulted to losing contracts, growth and income.

So now that I am back, I have to note down a few things:

1. Agency is good and experienced, have a team well over 25+ years of experience locally. So scaling or worrying about the complexity of the project wont be a issue.
2. I have both facebooks, linkedins, and Instagram's opened up for both brands but Instagram works best for me so I need to focus on for now what has worked.
3. I will worry about google ads and organic rankings later on, we ranked down by alot almost 90% of our keywords since being away for 10+ months, but dont have time to waste for long term, would rather put full focus
and attention on sales prospecting.

What I need to do moving forward EVERYDAY:
1. I will aim to message 80 users per day which is 160 per day, in specific time slots so we are not flagged.
That is 160 a day which is 4800 monthly messages. Id be happy if only 1% are closed in but I'm expecting less then <1%. I have a specific sales script I've been using for the past 2 years this one message has been a life saver many times early on in my career, I've enhanced it to the point of understanding every reaction that didn't work out with it. Now I just have to be disciplined to do it everyday.

2. I will start pushing more on LinkedIn, I have never got a lead from LinkedIn but im sure thats because I haven't put in the effort. I need to understand what are LinkedIn rules, then I can base how I will message people and how many people a day I can message, and try to create a pipeline so far I've been dabbling around LinkedIn sales navigator.

I will think of more ways to push, for now I will focus on what works and slowly get into LinkedIn and hopefully close enough deals to budget aside for paid traffic. Direct marketing is a hustle and a half but could be very cut throat at the same time very rewarding if you have a very good system in place.

I will be back end of tomorrow, for tonight before I sleep since I made this thread and want to be consistent daily, I'm going to get my data list ready for tomorrow and my content schedule ready to get my Day 1 started, any feedback is greatly appreciated and respected.

I will get into cold calling soon, just for now need to do what has worked. If you cold call already, how do you approach it, and who do you ask to speak to? Would be appreciated. I just dont see the value of cold calling, your calling owners and managers during work hours at unexpected times and most of the time they will be busy during those hours. I havent tested it much, I assume.

Thank you

How are you planning to get 80 users a day to message? do you have already profiles to which you are going to message?

80 customers texting every day where do you get it from?
I don't quite understand the number of people you're inviting.

Hi everyone thank you for your interests.

Day 1:
- I started the messaging process again, I didnt reach the 160 goal today because we were flagged for 3-4 hours, for some reason. maybe we havent used our instagrams in a while.
- We only messaged out today 60, maybe we need to warm up our instagrams, im not sure. I use to do 80 at once at one point, now I have to wait every 20-30 messages.

Results:
So far we got back 10 replies:
- 6 werent interested
- 1 person is starting up their business and will keep us in mind soon (niched based lead)
- 3 are interested and have asked for pricings and showed interest in our services. This is kind of a process, I dont want to push for a zoom meeting right away and lose their interest. I will let them respond to my follow up message and if they dont reply back in 1-2 days ill follow up, so they are considered warm leads for now. I Will reconnect with them again tomorrow or Friday.

What I need to do for tomorrow:
- Update the list of targets, so far I have 5000 Instagram's I have to loop through so I will have 1 month of data since we are targeting 4800 a month. I will have to prepare our next batch for the month of July. For the ones asking how we get our instagram data. I would first like to accomplish this journey then maybe I could share how I get the list. Ive been doing this same routine for the past couple of years. So I am strictly doing what worked before, instead of trying new methods. I did not have a chance to dabble more on LinkedIn so I will forsure look into it tonight before I sleep.
- Our website is well optimized but I want to make a few edits, we use hotjar.com to keep track of user experience and see why they are leaving our landing pages. With this data overtime I make the adjustments needed and at the end you will have a perfectly optimized landing page that works for you.

Thank you for the best wishes everyone, not sure how to multi quote and also for the ones asking about the messages strategy. Will explain after or during journey.

@rusomike90 You are taking much efforts in finding clients. Sending messages to these many people is really a time consuming task. My best wishes for you.

BTW there have been no updates in this thread for the past 10 days. How's the progress going on?

Hey man thank you for keeping me in reminder and accountable, this messaged actually reminded me to get back to this thread.

Hello everyone thank you for your interests, so far what has happened:
1. Currently we have 1 web design hot lead follow up, looks like the 10 websites a month is going to be a hard task but not impossible.
2. Instead, we signed 3 SEO local deals, in our sales script we also mention SMM & SEO. As they are just the beginner packages, we hope when we start getting them results, they will reinvest later on to more SEO keywords.
3. 3 Deposits have been sent, and just finalizing the final report to send to my SEO team.
4. I still aim to achieve the web design leads, when you currently have no business any contract matters, so this is a good start to get the train moving.
5. 1 more SEO lead (old client wants to start again, will close him again in a month or so)

Im going to share some images of replies, and Sageshark thank you again , any other recommendations that could be cost effective, paid ads are a future option.

3-4 Warm Leads on IG, but still have not closed. I do not consider anything a sale until a deposit is received regardless of their interests. My goal is to get them on Zoom call then from there its smooth sailing. for the 4th lead their currently getting their niched license so thats why I considered a warm lead. The data list I have worked is what really saves my ass with sales and the same script ive been using for years that some sales experts disapprove on. The only issue is once I get a few contracts my full attention goes into preparing them, setting invoices, seo proposal / plans, typical sales stuff before they start their first month with us. I would like to get a sales rep for something since its brandable for years with good portfolio but not sure its the right move now.

I will restart the journey daily on Monday and prep myself for the weekend, thanks for the follow up and any tips would be helpful and appreciated
