account under maintainance? wtf

i just tried to log on to FB with my main account and got this msg

Account unavailable

Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologise for the inconvenience.


i have had a few accounts banned b4 but never had this just the normal account suspended/disabled msg


anyone ever seen this





when i try to view the profile from anpther account it says that profile is available at this moment please check back later

Don't think its a ban. Maybe they've seen some suspicious activity but they're not 100% sure so their putting you under review?

I dont think its anythig to worry about, i have had it on my main account before and it only last a few hours. just database maintainence

don't worry happened to one of my accounts few days back was back to working in about 10 hrs so.....

As stated above, it happens all the time. It usually doesn't last long. It's just FaceBook updating parts of the site and since they have so many users they have to do it in sections. Sometimes when the site is busy they'll do that to random accounts to bring the load back down. Think of it like electric companies and brown outs, just with profiles.
