LinkedIn immediately comes to mind. The main difference is that when you go to Facebook or Twitter, you could be there for any number of reasons. When you go to LinkedIn, you're typically there for business or business related connections. A streamlined purpose like that makes them stand to people as users will associate the platform with business first.
