How to increase quality of leads?

Hello everyone, I'm doing Meta ads campaign for my company, doing on-Facebook leads, and also doing lead generations on website,

But quality of my leads are very low, I mean they are signing up, but when we call them they tell us that it's not them, or maybe friend signed them up and etc...

Any suggestions?

I worked some years contacting leads for an renting car company and maybe only 10% of the people was really interested in the product. Some people just get registered to check the offer or get the product somewhere else. Even with so low % of people, it was still profitable because cold sales are way worse.

You could try a pre-signup quiz to filter, so people answer a few questions before opt-in.

Don't use the FB leads forms, have them go straight to your site and use the on-page form.

That'll drastically increase the quality.

Use quality forms, develop detailed form, use targeted content and one keyword at a time,,,it attracts your quality leads

add a type in question on your meta lead form ads, that with a multiple choice questions will help increase quality

It depends on how you acquire the leads.
If it's a digital product most sign up for free stuff, many are simply interested because it's free and most don't even read it.
So consider offering a $1 product so you have real potential customers not just "free grabbers".
