Can you explain to the forum the topic of quality scores? For instance, how are the calculated? Are they the same through out CPA networks? Are they issued by merchants?
Are they based on long term profitability, or are they based on leads converted vs dead end leads?

Oh one thing alot of people have interest about is general affiliate acceptance into companies.
What are some of the top things you look at?
I dont do ALOT of organic marketing so its always hard for me when they ask "Put 4 websites with high traffic you own here" I have a few 1k + websites but nothing extraordinary

What are some of the things you look at into getting rejected and accepted.

Bottom line to get accepted - be real. Don't say you own a site you don't. Don't fake out your WHOIS. Don't put in a fake phone number or IM handle. We've gotta know you are who you say you are when you signup. There are some other things we check for (english site, no cash incentives, no warez, no porn, etc.), but that's the big one.

I can't speak for every network, but for mine we depend on feedback from merchants. We don't calculate a numerical score, but we do keep track of the feedback we've received from merchants and act accordingly. If one merchant complains about quality, we usually pull the affiliate from the campaign. If many/most merchants complain, we ask the affiliate to leave the network. In both cases, the affiliate is paid for all leads which have not been reversed. Note that this applies to legit leads. People who create fake/fraud leads in bad faith are unceremoniously dumped with no pay.
