I have started a niche based porn website. My site posts premium videos for free.

I am little bit worried about the legal issues that may come on the way.

To avoid any of this, right now I am using OffShore Hosting.

What I want to know what are all the things that I should be aware of

DMCA, takedown notices, your 'offshore' host might just get rid of you if you're small fry. Not worth their time and energy protecting small accounts.

Might be worth getting licensed content and rewriting text for each video, to make it more SEO 'friendly'. But still, it's super tough

Starting a Porn site is good idea as it has huge traffic, the down turn of sharing pirated videos will lead to DMCA copyright which will eventually decrease the search engine traffic and google will blacklist domain as well.

You can of course make a site which share free xxx but it will surely has less traffic as people are searching for premium stuff for free.

Good luck dude !

what if I plan on getting reddit traffic? I am not really interested in SEO for now. I am trying to make my own subreddit in my brand name.

Are you sure that google eventually blacklists the domain? Do you know that for a fact?

I guess, they may blacklist if you get too many DMCA take downs

You also need to learn about the laws in your country. For example, in our country you can get up to five years in prison for distributing pornography. In other countries, it's more or less. In some countries, they can even shoot you. First, find out what the laws on distribution of illegal pornography are in your country.
