Hello,

I started my dropshipping SEO website 3 months ago. First month, I gained arround 26 KW on semrush. My on-page SEO was quite good.

After that, I started to build some backlinks, so I bought 5-6 medium-quality BL, but since April my number of semrush keywords is decreasing.

What can be the reasons ? Should I continue investing tim and money for this website or I should stop it ? (I've invested a lot of time, so I'd hate to stop.)

Thanks in advance for your advices :)

It's your first time building links right so it started to fluctuate and crawled by Google as per the Algorithms your site is performing now

And only by 6 backlinks wont judge too quick to stop the process do the process consistently to see the results

What does it mean ? Is it normal in the begining of link building that google is suspicious and ranks my site badly? it's strange because my BLs are already indexed on my GSC.

Since the rankings drop after your backlinks campaigns, it shows that the problem is coming from the backlinks you're building. Use another high quality backlink service or if you're doing it yourself, change websites.

A lot of time is required for the ranking to stabilize. At the start, you will have backlinks but not as much traffic from the google for example and naturally google will change your position regularly and test you until it finds a spot that you deserve.
You can have 100 good backlinks but if for some reason a lot of people are avoiding clicking on your site in search for example, google will just push you back to the bottom because you are taking place for no reason.

SEO is much more than keywords and backlinks, human input is what will decide at the end.

Hello, thanks for your answer.

So concretly, what can I do to improve that ? Because my meta title, meta description,... are already optimized.

That's my GSC graph btw, quite bad

If your site doesn't revive, it might be a good idea to disavow those recent links

It doesn't mean suspicious mate your site is crawling under Google Algorithms so do the consistent efforts you can see the effective results

You need to check on the backlinks. If the quality of the link is not good it will affect the rankings. If everything is fine, just keep adding more unique high quality articles and promote them on social media sites. You can build more high quality links to your pages & diversify your anchor profile with more long tail keywords, brand, naked, generic anchors.

When your site is only a few months old, you will definitely see your site dropping after a few months of starting because Google does a check for the first few weeks by putting your site at a good position. Wait for 3 more months to see a jump back.

I would think google may be dancing your keywords results in search engine

Bro, you are not even ranking for 100 keywords, any little movement will be visible on tools

Anchor text profile is the most important factor in off-page SEO

Theoretically you aren't even out of the sandbox (which is arguably 6 months). If your budget is big enough for you to establish yourself in multiple top 10 serps IMO you should continue investing in your site until you at least get out of the sandbox.

Also, there is also a lot of info that you didn't mention, we don't know how competitive are the keywords that you are going for, what are the items you are selling and what type of content you have on the site. These things all have to be taken into consideration.

Google is still testing your site and it's probably too early to draw conclusions. The keywords that you gained could be just G trying to get some clicks to your pages and learn more about how users engage with your content.

Hello, the problem is that my site isn't just a few weeks old, it's been up for two and a half months already.

According to you, is it normal to fall after a few months? Because when I analyze my competitors, during the first year they were in progression every month.
