Hey,

I just joined ClickBank and I wanted to know what y'all think about my idea:

The site is going to be a site where you can search through every books that I am promoting, so basicly I'm just going to promote every ebook from clickbank. The user will be able to search on the website and watch each sale page and will be able to buy the (e)book..

It's more like a kind of search engine with all of the books I am promoting and each with it's own salespage...

What you think about the idea?

To the OP:

There are different opinions in regards to this.

Some say it's a good idea to have various Clickbank products on one site and others say that having a "single-action" page devoted to one product is the best way to go.

Personally, I have tried both ways and found that the single-action page is the best.

When people see a ton of different products on a site they are often overwhelmed and have a tendency to end up not buying anything. At least that has been my experience.

Like Wiz, I also tried both ways. And he is right. The "single-action" site works best in regards to conversion rates. And that's what it's all about... getting good conversion rates (=making good money). My advice to you would be not to do it.

Maybe it would work doing both ways independently of each other. Have individual websites with good landing pages and squeeze pages marketing the products. Promote those sites and get directed traffic making its way to the offer.

Then have a seperate website attracting less targeted traffic and set up the multiple link page. The people that find the multi-link page might not have been targeted by the individual campaigns, so you have a chance to make some more sales from them.

Just make it be a one direction thing. Keep the individual sites focused on making the sale they are designed for, don't water it down by linking to the multi-link page. But then after they make a purchase, include the link page for your other offers on your thankyou page.

The problem is that you as an affiliate won't get the customer re-directed to your 'thank you' page but to the vendor's 'thank you' page after the sale.

And traffic to those multi-offer sites is simply not targeted enough. I still think you make more money from setting up "one offer only" sites.

I have been raping...er...using Clickbank for cash for a long time and I have to tell you I agree with Wiz and Peter on this.

From experience, if you give too many options to people, they will almost never take the action you want them to. This is sales-psychology 101 stuff.

Believe or not, most people like to be told what to do. That is why a single action page gets higher conversions.

You can also create themed review pages i.e. one that reviews multiple dog training products. These types of sites get higher conversions, build your authority within a niche, allow you build targeted lists...I'm sure you get the point.

Also, having a site with everything on it will a bitch to get ranked in google because it will be so un-targeted.

The only real way I have every banked big time off a site that has every CB product on there was to use scripts to build the site really fast, target freebie seekers for driving traffic, and then adding "something" evil to my site.

I can't talk about it since it is against BHW TOS, but any good B-Hatter will know what I'm getting at.

i have no idea how well they're actually monetizing though..
