So When your site goes famous lunarpages SUSPEND your account. That is a scam company, stay away from it. Suspended my account without any notification, Just because my blog got decent traffic today. Please stay away from lunarpages. They will rip you and force you to buy their 100$/month plan.

I have an account with them and I'm really disappointed :rant: cause about 3 months ago all of my websites databases suddendly vanished :squint:!!
As compensation for their huge incompetence they offered me a grand free month of subscription!!Wow!!WTF!? One sh***y month for erasing all of my databases?
Stay away from them... I'm planning to move on to another hosting ASAP

iv had the Basic Hosting (~$70/yr) with them for a couple years now. I haven't gotten enough traffic to be a problem for them. I haven't been working on the site enough. I used cPannel and Fantastico to ad a few things. Last year I got a job that was going to pay well enough I didn't need to look into other income, so I gave up on the site, I let the subscription expire. I lost my good job, and tried to re-activate, everything has to be set up again, all the databases are gone.

I'm starting from scratch, Atleast I still get 30-100 hits/day, most of it is google-bot or some other bot, and the ones that are people don't translate into money for me yet.

your account get SUSPENDED and you claim lunarpages is a scam company.

so in your view:
SUSPENDED account = scam?

and you suggested that all because your site got decent traffic on the suspend day. (and what's the point to suspend you due to one day decent traffic? )

based on that, you further suggested that They will rip you and force you to buy their 100$/month plan. (how they force you to buy other plan..when they Suspended your account without any notification ?)


so it seems you scam claim was baseless and funny. :silly:

About 5 years ago I had an account with them and I thought they were great! As my site grew they grew with me. I'm sorry to hear that about them.

Have you even tried contacting them to see why they suspended it?
