You either update with shell access or have a control panel do it for you.

I am talking about CPanel, the most popular control panel that almost every hosting provider has.
If you are not sure what control panel yours is, (or if you have any at all). please tell me what plan you bought on bulkbyhosting and I'll check it for you.

Thank you for your help. Currently, I have completed the PHP update, but I haven't installed SSL yet, so could you help me with this as well?
