Awwwee that’s a little nostalgic. I remember starting with wp 2.8 most probably (or 2.4, forgot the exact version number). We have come a long way for sure. Happy bday wp!

How prevent wordpress queries + mysql high cou usage?

Load your queries in OPCache combined with Memcached it will offload your CPU. I have also used Docket Cache on some sites with great results.

I think when I use litespeed cache plugin - then migrate mysql tables into innodb will help too....

You make sure opcache and memcached is activated on your hosting. Reading queries from the memory in opcache is so much faster.
