I've noticed that similarweb and semrush count the traffic differently. For example, one of my websites have 16M users monthly on semrush but on similarweb, it's only 400k users monthly. Do you know about it? And if yes, can you explain. Thanks in advance.

maybe one add unique visitor views and one add all views.

They probably have different ways of calculating traffic.

All (similar) tools have different factors / parameters / algorithms / methods and time duration to show updated data.

Same goes for search volume for a keyword on semrus / ahrefs / google adwords tool etc.

Each algorithm/api reacts differently when determining stats.

Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, GSC, & StatCounter all have showed something slightly different when it comes to traffic and/or metrics.

Both tools use different methods to estimate website traffic and have separate algorithm. So, you may use either Semrush or Similarweb tool which accomplish your needs.
